instagram to inbox
This is for you if:
1.
You're an interior designer using instagram but not getting results
2.
You want to grow your business without relying on the algorithm
3.
You’re ready to create content with purpose — and with a plan
4.
You’ve thought about starting a newsletter but didn’t know how
Likes and comments?
Cute.
Lovely.
Great for the ego.
But let’s be honest — they don’t pay the studio rent.
I had to admit my myself:
I was chasing engagement when I should’ve been building connection.
Because as business owners, we’ve got to back substance over sparkle.
Yes, it’s fun when a post pops off. But real results?
They come from conversations. From trust. From actual humans thinking,
“She gets me. I want to work with her.”
Recognition is nice. But bookings?
DELICIOUS.

You can’t build a business on platforms you don’t own.
(Unless you like living at the mercy of the algorithm gods, who—let’s be honest—are chaotic at best and emotionally unavailable at worst.)
When I started my business, I was all in. Betting on my creativity, my skills, and my slightly concerning obsession with good lighting.
But then I kept hearing other designers say:
“How big’s your email list?”
And I just… blinked. Stared. Froze.
Because the answer was:
Zero. Nada. Zilch. Tumbleweeds in a digital wasteland.
Every fibre of my being wanted to yell,
“Excuse me, have you seen my Instagram? My feed is a curated masterpiece. It is giving. It is glowing. It is WORKING.”
But deep down? I knew.
Instagram was the party.
Email was the afterparty — where the real stuff happened.

Not at all. This course is about strategy, not size. Whether you have 200 followers or 20,000, what matters is how you engage your audience and guide them toward your email list — that’s what leads to bookings.
No dancing required, promise! We’ll show you simple, designer-friendly reel formats you can create with minimal tech and maximum style. Think moodboards, walkthroughs, styling tips — all achievable and on-brand.
Yes! This course is perfect for beginners. We’ll walk you through how to set up your list, choose the right platform, and start building an audience of potential clients from scratch.
We’ve got you! You’ll learn what makes a good lead magnet, see real examples from the design world, and follow a step-by-step guide to create one that attracts the right people to your list.
This course is specifically designed for interior designers who want to grow their business — not influencers. Every strategy is aimed at helping you attract, nurture, and book paying clients.
Nope — everything is broken down step-by-step with screen recordings, checklists, and templates. If you can post on Instagram, you can do this course.
It’s self-paced, so you can learn on your own schedule. But if you join the full experience, you’ll also get access to live Zoom Q&A calls with Lauren and a like-minded community for support.
hey there!
I'm Lauren, your biggest supporter!
I’m an interior designer that loves to talk about interior design. I write about design, speak about it and basically live and breathe design.
I have more than 20 years of experience across the residential, retail, and commercial sectors, and holds a Bachelor of Design, Interior Design (Honours) from Swinburne, and a Diploma of Arts, Interior Design & Decoration from RMIT.
Sisällä’s projects have been recognised by several awards programs, including the Australian Interior Design Awards, and as a five-time finalist of House & Garden's Top 50 Rooms.
Always one to share my passions in the hope that we can elevate the interior design industry and go GREAT work for our clients.
